Lead SAP O2C (SD) Consultant

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities :

We are looking for an experienced SAP O2C Senior Consultant for the SAP ECC (R/3) Module Owner role. The role will lead the O2C team and be responsible for delivering SAP ECC (R/3) O2C continuous development business requirements. It requires strong O2C domain and functional knowledge, proven experience in both SAP R/3 and S/4 technologies, expertise in process optimization and system integration initiatives and the ability to lead, support and guide teams toward timely and high-quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and drive SAP ECC (R/3) O2C Continuous development business requirements from requirement analysis through solution deployment.
• Apply a systematic approach to requirement analysis, process concept definition, technical concept work and solution validation.
• Discuss and coordinate O2C requirements with process experts and define scalable process concepts and deployment approaches.
• Bring strong functional SAP SD process knowledge, including hands-on working experience in SAP ECC R/3 and custom developments.
• Translating high-level business and customer requirements into detailed, actionable Agile user stories, acceptance criteria and technical specifications.
• Coordinate technical developments with functional and development teams, verify technical aspects and support end-to-end solution deployment.
• Work effectively with cross-functional processes such as FI, MM, LE and related integration areas.
• Apply working experience in interface setups such as EDI, Webservice, RFC and related integration mechanisms.
• Handle BRs/CRs development and ensure alignment with business priorities, technical feasibility and delivery commitments.
• Drive digital transformation initiatives including automation, analytics and AI-led improvements where relevant to O2C delivery.
• Manage risks, dependencies and escalations proactively to support timely resolution and business continuity.
• Drive collaboration across global and cross-cultural teams, ensuring clear communication and stakeholder alignment.
• Collaboration with the IT Product Owner, ensuring sprint goals align with business priorities and technical feasibility.
• Support IT PO in sprint planning, backlog refinement and sprint reviews to ensure clear, continuous delivery progress.
• Lead, motivate and guide team members while ensuring optimal utilization, skill alignment and a learning-driven culture.

Qualifications

Educational qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, IT or a related field and/or MBA/MCA degree

Experience :

Minimum 8+ years of SAP O2C/SD experience across rollout and support projects.

Mandatory/requires Skills :

End-to-end SAP O2C/SD configuration (Ordering, Pricing, Shipping, Billing) with R/3, S/4 HANA & EDI/IDoc interface design.

Preferred Skills :

SAP O2C certifications and Agile certifications are an added advantage.

Additional Information

Primarily supports SAP ECC (R/3), might also get to work on S/4 in the future as per potential opportunities that may arise.
