Privacy notice

FitRole is run by Nexthuman Consulting Services Pvt. Ltd. ("we"). We are the data fiduciary for the personal data you give us under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and its Rules. This notice says what we collect, why, and how you stay in control.

What we collect

• Your name, email, mobile number and city.
• Your CV and the profile we fill from it (role, experience, qualifications, skills, notice period, pay you enter), which you confirm.
• The roles you open, save or apply to on FitRole.
• If you sign in with Google: your Google email address and name. We never see your Google password.
• Basic, anonymous usage data: a random visitor id stored in a first-party cookie, the pages you open and the site that sent you. We do not store your IP address or use third-party advertising trackers.

Why we use it

• To run your account and show you relevant finance roles.
• To email you new matching roles, only if you turn on alerts. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe, and we record whether an alert was opened or clicked so we can improve it.
• To fill your profile from your CV. When our built-in reader can't read a CV, its text is processed by an AI service (Anthropic) on our behalf, under terms that do not allow it to train on your data.
• To improve FitRole, using counts of visits and applications, never individual profiles.

We use your data only with your consent, which you give when you create your profile. We do not sell, rent or share your profile with employers or recruiters. When you apply, you go to the employer's own site and share your details with them directly.

Who processes it for us

• Cloudflare (hosting, database and file storage, Asia-Pacific region).
• Anthropic (CV reading fallback, as above).
• Resend (delivering the job-alert emails you choose).
• Google (only if you choose Google sign-in).

How long we keep it

• Your profile and CV, while your account is active.
• If you don't use FitRole for 2 years, we delete your profile and CV automatically.
• When you delete your account, your CV is deleted at once and your profile details are erased. Backup copies are overwritten within 30 days.
• We keep a minimal record that you consented and when you deleted your account, as the law requires.

Your rights

• Access: download your full profile as a PDF from My profile.
• Correction: edit your profile at any time.
• Erasure and withdrawing consent: use “Delete my profile” in My profile. It takes effect immediately.
• Nomination: you can name someone to exercise these rights for you if you die or become unable to; write to us.
• Grievances: contact our Grievance Officer, at mitul@ease.biz. We acknowledge within 72 hours. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Admin access is limited to the FitRole team and protected by sign-in controls. If a breach affects your data, we will tell you and the Board as the law requires.

Children

FitRole is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect children's data.
