Where to find verified finance jobs in India
Chartered accountants, cost accountants, auditors and finance analysts lose time on vacancies that closed weeks ago. This guide compares the main ways to search, shows how to check that a role is real and still open, and explains where FitRole fits and where it doesn't.
1. The four places finance jobs are found
No single source is complete. Most people do best combining two or three.
2. How to check a vacancy is real and still open
- Find the employer's own posting. If you cannot trace a listing to the company's careers page or applicant-tracking system, treat it with caution.
- Open the apply page. A working application form on the employer's domain is the best sign a role is live.
- Check the dates. Look for when it was posted and when it was last confirmed. A role posted two months ago and never re-checked is a coin toss.
- Be wary of fees and chat-app-only contact. Genuine employers do not charge candidates to apply, interview or be shortlisted.
- Match the details. Salary, location and experience should be consistent between the listing and the employer's own page.
3. Where FitRole fits

4. Example: a CA with three years of experience
Three years after qualifying, most CAs are choosing between audit and assurance at a firm, a corporate finance team, and finance roles at a global capability centre (GCC). Pay, hours and learning curves differ a lot, so look at all three before choosing.

How can I tell whether a job vacancy is still open?
Open the employer's own posting and check that the apply page works and the role is still listed. Look at the posted date and when it was last checked. Roles can close at any time, so confirm on the employer's site before you spend time on an application.
